High In Dubai

Today I climbed to the top the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The 830 meter tall skyscraper has 160 floors with the world’s highest outdoor observation deck on the 124th floor, 452 meters high.

The Burj Khalifa is actually the center of a large project called Downtown Dubai.

Towards the bottom right of the picture above is the Dubai Mall, the largest shopping mall in the world. It has a ice rink. Yup, I saw my first ice hockey match in the middle of a freaking desert. 😉
