Ride To White Lake – Day 3
Day 3 of my ride to White Lake in Mongolia.
We left Ikh Tamir after breakfast and spent the entire day off-road. Wet marshlands and numerous water crossings made the ride very interesting. Quite a few falls with riders slipping and sliding a bit too much on the wet steppes. I dropped my bike at a hill climb just before White Lake. Apart from a bruised handguard and a bruised ego, no other damage. I relished the sunset at White lake and climbed a nearby hill to get a good view of our ger camp.
