Replacing The Triumph Tiger’s Chain

The Triumph Tiger’s stock chain doesn’t come with a lock link. To replace it you need to go through the hassle of removing the swing arm. However, since the replacement chain comes with a link, you can avoid removing the swing arm by simply breaking the stock chain and installing the new one. You can break a motorcycle chain by using some heavy duty tools and brute force. However, a better way is to use a grinder and grind off one side of the pins on a chain link. That way you don’t damage the old chain and it can be reused if required.
